Attorney Ada Pozo is a partner at Miami-based immigration and criminal defense law firm Pozo Goldstein, LLP. Ms. Pozo is a former Miami-Dade County Court judge and was certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a mentor judge. She has presided over thousands of cases in the civil, criminal, and domestic violence divisions. She also has experience as a trial attorney for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and has litigated numerous criminal cases ranging from armed robbery, DUI, cocaine possession, capital sexual battery, and murder, with an estimated 35-40 percent involving Hispanic defendants. Ms. Pozo has also served as a forensic social worker. Her practice now involves defending people against deportation and criminal charges, as well as other aspects of immigration including asylum, citizenship, and more.

Ms. Pozo hosts a weekday radio show called ACCESO LEGAL, which airs on SiriusXM’s popular Cristina Radio channel. She also lends her legal expertise to a variety of TV and radio news channels, serving as an expert legal analyst on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Univision’s “Aqui y Ahora,” “Al Punto,” and “Despierta America,” and Fox News’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”
